Las Vegas AAUW began providing career exploration events for 5th grade girls in 2007  with GIRLS CAN!.  Every year the number of girls attending and the number of professional women presenting hands-on workshops has increased. It is so gratifying when we contact principals and teachers and they can’t wait to send the fifth grade girls to Girls Can!.

GIRLS CAN! 2022

Girls Can! 2022 will be held on Wednesday  April 20, 2022 at Luna Community College from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. We will have 17 different 30-minute hands-on presentations given by 19 professional women.  The girls will select 4 workshops each to attend. We have invited girls from Las Vegas, Pecos, Mora, Wagon Mound, Santa Rosa, Anton Chico, and Springer.  For more information please click on the link.  Girls can LUNA Light
